Workflow Steps
Step 1 - Submit Access Request via Service Catalog
Employee submits a request from a service catalog, specifying the system or application they need access to and the business reason.
Step 2 - Manager Approval Workflow
The request is automatically routed to the employee's manager, who approves the request, confirming the business need for the access.
Step 3 - Automated Provisioning / IT Fulfillment
For integrated systems, access is provisioned automatically. For others, a ticket is created for the IT department to manually grant the access.
Step 4 - Periodic Access Review
On a regular basis (e.g., quarterly), managers are required to review and recertify their team members' access rights to ensure they are still necessary, revoking any that are not.
